I got my inspiration from several different patterns from the late
1940s to '50s for this dress. The skirt has box pleats all around
the waist and is attached to a fitted bodice with a scoop neckline
in the front and back. The neckline is bound with strips of fabric
that extend long enough to tie into a bow at the front. Back zip
and fully lined. Fabric: 100% cotton lawn. Lining: blend. (All
fabric has been pre-washed.) Machine
wash warm and dry delicate cycle.
Size: S-M (Bust: 33", Waist: 28"-29", Hips: fits
small to large, Waist to Hem: 24 1/2")

This dress is made of sheer striped cotton. I
used a pattern from the 1930's to make this dress, shortened the
hem, sleeves and made a belt to match. It has a side zip and
buttons down the front with vintage pearl buttons. The pocket flap
as well as the collar are trimmed with vintage tatting. This
is the perfect dress to wear on a hot summer day. 100% cotton.
Unlined. Hand wash/line dry or dry clean only.
Size: XS (Bust: 32", Waist: 26", Hip:
35", Waist to Hem: 21 1/2")

1930's Silk Chiffon Evening Gown

I used an original 1930's evening gown pattern to make this. It is
made out of a lovely printed silk chiffon for the main fabric
and black silk taffeta for the lining. The gown is cut on the
bias, as was popular in the '30s, which makes it form fitting.
It also has a lovely drape to it and a full skirt. It reminds me
of the gowns Ginger Rogers wore while dancing in the movies.
Back zip and fully lined.
Fabric: 100% silk chiffon and 100% silk taffeta lining. Dry clean
only.
Size: S-M (Bust: 34", Hip: 37", Waist: 28", Length (neck to hem):
61")
$380.00
(Regularly $400.00)
