Laura's Dobby Silk Dress

This gown is made of dobby silk taffeta (same fabric as Katie's ball gown), trimmed with self fabric ruffles at the edge of the pagoda sleeves and cap sleeves. It also has a row of black velvet hand sewn above each ruffle.

Black glass buttons decorate the front of the bodice, but the actual closures are a row of hooks and eyes. A delicate collar and underlseeves complete this ensemble.

Note: In this last picture, the opening at the neckline was not able to close as my dress form's neck was not small enough.
